Heather Greene has over 20 years of experience in a variety of health information management (HIM) roles, including as a coding instructor and a HIM manager. She is an educational specialist at AAPC concentrating on inpatient coding. Greene provides education to students and clients regarding coding, medical documentation, and HIM functions nationally. Additionally, she is a frequent speaker/author on HIM topics for various organizations, including AAPC and AHIMA. Greene has a bachelor's degree in HIM and an MBA.

Mary Vivian-Leidy has a comprehensive background encompassing front desk operations, medical billing, and coding roles in various settings, Mary brings a unique blend of practical and technical expertise to her current position as Education Coordinator at a teaching hospital. Her extensive experience in professional fee coding, inpatient coding, and team leadership has equipped her with a keen understanding of coding professionals' complexities and challenges. Passionate about sharing her knowledge and fostering the growth of others, Mary currently serves on the AAPC Subject Matter Expert Advisory Committee and works as a Teaching Assistant for AAPC’s VILT CPC courses.
