Our courses run twice a year, from January through May and from July through November. The comprehensive training includes all aspects of diagnostic and procedural coding with practical examples from an instructor with decades of real world experience and a track record of successful students with solid coding careers. The course fee includes AAPC membership, course materials, code books, online access and the national certification exam. Registration is open and ongoing. Late enrollments may only be accepted upon interview and approval by the instructor. The regular CPC class meets on Saturdays from 8:30am to 12:30pm Mountain Time from January through May and from July through November. We now offer online training - a virtual classroom experience - during our live training time. Registration is open and ongoing. Class Details:

Medisense is pleased to offer AAPC's Medical Coding Training: CPC to students in Colorado and throughout the United States.  Our course is 20 weeks long, four hours each Saturday via live virtual classroom. The course covers all aspects of professional medical coding, including CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS and culminates in a timed, proctored exam for national certification. I have over 35 years of experience in practice management, coding, billing and consulting and bring real-world experience into the classroom.

Linda R Farrington

Linda has over thirty years of experience in healthcare and practice management, specializing in cardiovascular and thoracic surgery and risk adjustment with an emphasis on diagnostic coding. She has  served as an AAPC local  chapter  president,  secretary, and education officer. Linda has presented various audio conferences and workshops nationally, and has spoken at the AAPC national conference.  She has served as a representative on the AAPC National Advisory Board (NAB) and as Secretary to the NAB.  Linda is employed as Associate Director of National Coding Education for Optum and is the owner/instructor of Medisense, a private occupational school, teaching live, virtual coding certification courses from Colorado with a stated mission of "Making Sense of Medical Coding."
