Our 2024 Salary Survey shows that the highest-paid people in Alabama working in the business of healthcare make an average $110,000 and hold the CIC credential, among others.

The top three employers of healthcare business professionals in the state are hospitals (both outpatient & inpatient depts), small group practices (2-10 physicians), and health systems.

Roughly 51.6 percent of healthcare business professionals in Alabama work remotely, earning an average $57,566. A reported 36 percent work on site, earning an average $52,829, and 12.4 percent work partly onsite and partly remote (hybrid), earning an average $62,554.
