Say goodbye to Home Health Compare and Hospice Compare next month. But all of their content will be contained in Medicare’s new Care Compare tool, which includes eight different types of providers from skilled nursing facilities to physicians. Care Compare has been up since September, but the legacy Compare sites were also still available.
“Care Compare offers a new design that makes it easier to find the same information that’s on the original compare tools,” CMS says in a release. “It gives you … one user-friendly place to find cost, quality of care, service volume, and other CMS quality data to help make informed health care decisions.”
