You can tune in to the OIG's website each week to watch a new video and audio podcast on a compliance training topic. The first presentation addressed the OIG's exclusion authorities and the second covered the anti-kickback statute. Coming presentations will go over topics ranging from documentation to compliance basics, the OIG says in a release. "We know that the overwhelming majority of health care providers are working hard to comply with Federal laws and regulations," HHS Inspector General Daniel Levinson says in the release. "These videos are designed to guide them in further enhancing their compliance efforts." "These presentations provide an overview of the importance of promoting a culture of prevention, detection, and resolution of compliance problems," Lewis Morris, Chief Counsel to the Inspector General, says in the release. "The easily accessible podcasts further support compliance personnel who are on the front lines of advising providers regarding the Federal fraud and abuse laws and company policies."
