Therapy Caps At $1,880

Caps for outpatient Part B therapy will be $1,880 in 2012, CMS reminds in a MLN Matters article (MM 7529). That's up from $1,870 this year. Remember, the caps do not apply to therapy furnished under a home health plan of care, they just apply to outpatient Part B therapy. Congress has yet to approve the therapy cap exceptions process for 2012. The provision is included in the "doc fix" legislation currently working its way through Congress.
