Addus Makes Chicago Buy

Hospice companies aren’t the only ones involved in acquisitions. Frisco, Texas-based Addus HomeCare Corp. has acquired Apple Home Healthcare, a Chicago-area home health agency, for undisclosed terms, Addus says in a release. Apple joins “our expanding operations in the greater Chicago area, one of our largest markets,” Addus CEO Dirk Allison says. Addus offers personal care services as well as hospice and home health services from 206 locations across 22 states, it notes.
