What should I bring with me to the exam?

U.S., Bahamas, and Jamaica Testing center allowed materials Printed copy of Meazure Learning admission ticket A valid, government-issued photo ID (e.g., driver's license, passport, state-issued ID card). Temporary, paper, copies, or digital IDs are NOT permitted. First and last name on the valid, government-issued photo ID must EXACTLY match your first and last name as they appear on the scheduling screens. If you have more than one last name listed on your government-issued ID, the same last names must be reflected on your confirmation email. If your first and last names are incorrect, please contact AAPC at 800-626-2633 immediately, no later than 48 hours prior to your exam date. Failure to show proper ID will render you a no-show and your exam will be forfeited. India If your exam permits, current year AMA CPT, ICD-10-CM, ICD-10PCS, and HCPCS Level II code books are provided at testing centers in India. If your exam permits other references as outlined here , you will be responsible to bring them to the testing center and allow the proctors to verify that they are accepted. Printed copy of Meazure Learning admission ticket One form of original Government issued photo ID (see details below) Approved identification must be DigiLocker Verified. Candidates must open the DigiLocker app in front of the proctor (no screenshots, printed versions, etc. allowed). Candidate must allow proctor to review their digital Aadhaar card within the app under Issued Documents. Match the photo to the individual and the name to the name on the confirmation email. If a candidate does not have the digital Aadhaar card in DigiLocker, they will not be admitted. If the photo or name does not match the exam registration EXACTLY, the candidate will not be admitted. You will be considered a no-show and you will need to repurchase the exam attempt.

Can Live Remote Proctored (LRP) exams be taken outside the US?

Not at this time. All Live Remote Proctored (LRP) exams are administered within the US, Jamaica, and the Bahamas.

What code books do I need for my AAPC certification exam?

Refer to the chart below to identify approved books and resources for the various certification exams. You may also download this information for your convenience. Cancellation policy

If you cancel or reschedule your live remote proctored electronic exam date/time more than 24 hours before the start of your exam, there'll be no fee.

No-shows

If you don't show up to your scheduled live remote proctored exam OR you don't meet the requirements to take the exam, this will be considered a no-show and your exam voucher will be canceled and a new voucher must be purchased (or a 2nd attempt used, if available) to reschedule.

Testing center exam

Cancellation policy

Electronic exams taken at a testing center can be canceled or rescheduled for no fee if changes made are more than 15 days prior to your scheduled date. Between 15 days and 2 days in advance of the appointment, the fee is $25. The fee is paid online to Meazure Learning. Candidates can't reschedule or cancel less than 2 days in advance.

If you don't show up to your scheduled testing center exam OR you don't meet the requirements to take the exam, this will be considered a no-show and your exam voucher will be canceled and a new voucher must be purchased (or a 2nd attempt used, if available) to reschedule.
