Hi,
I received an email from one of our providers stating he performed a procedure where he states he " removed an ear piercing, a post that was stuck, inflamed and causing infection in the left ear helix" I suggested 10120 and sent him info on that code he replies with " in this case all I did was take two hemostats and unscrewed the post. I used no anesthesia and I did not cut the skin" and my first thought was using a regular E/M but I wanted to get some feedback regarding this... any help is appreciated!
