What code is used to bill for room and board? We bill H0018 or H0019 for all services except room and board. H0043 & H0044 are supported housing, but that is the full description. Is that room and board and can H0018 & H0043 be billed together?

All you need to focus on is the revenue code. 1001/1002 include room and board, so the HCPCS is only required because they want to lowball you on price by factoring the CMS rates set up by your state Medicaid program if possible. I suggest that you try to send the claims with no HCPCS and see how those work out for you 💲
