Hello everybody,

i need to know the code for voice prosthesis insertion?

this is the operation.... any idea?

Operation Name:total laryngectomy with vioce prosthsis insertion (Vego size 8/22.5
Procedures:supine position
sand bag bellow the shulder
scrubing and drabing
Apron skin incision
infltration with xylocain and adrenalin 1/200000
elevation of sup and inf flap in subplatysmal plane
disection in both side by opening the onvesting facia around the SCM , deep
to major vesseles ,
both lobe of thyroid were pr3esereved mwhile isthmus renoved with
tracheostomy site
disection above the hyoid bone with identification of both greated horn and
identification of epiglottis .
tracheostomy opened at level 4-5 tracheal ring
disection of constictor from the thyroid cartilage
removal of larynx
closure of stoma to skin with vicryl 3/0 half matress anteriorly and
intrupted suture post.
voic eprosthesis vega size 8 / 22,5
tow suture size 18 insreted
closure of skin in 2 layer ()first vicryl 3/0 interupted , inverted suture
skin with skin stapller
fucidin dressing
