What CPT codes would you use for Venclose RF Ablation?
Thanks, Pam

Since Venclose is a catheter manufactured to perform radiofrequency (RF) ablation of the veins, I would code CPT 36475 for the first vein treated in the leg and code 36476 if a second vein is treated through a separate access. These codes include accessing the venous system with catheter(s), all imaging guidance needed to perform the procedure (including u/s guidance), and application of any compression dressings over the surgery site.

I hope that helps - have a good night!
