Hello everyone,

I am new to laboratory coding and I wanted to know if anyone knows the CPT code(s) for a UTI test on a PCR machine?

We just purchased our PCR machine for UTI testing and Im having some issues with coding. Medicare denies 87641 mod 59 and BCIL
Pays partially. CPT codes 87641 and 87640 denied. 87798 paid for 1 unit.
Do you have any input since you have been doign it for a while?
