Hi all,

I have a doc that wants to use corneal tissue as a scleral graft, not for a corneal transplant. Does anyone know if you can bill for corneal tissue V2785 if not billing with a keratoplasty cpt code? I don't see an LCD for this and for a +$3200.00 graft, I really want to know if this is acceptable billing practice.

Thanks

yes you can use corneal tissue for a scleral graft. The patch is non-optical quality and your fee should be very low (not like you use for K graft).
