Our radiologists are providing interpretation of images performed by a surgeon during a surgical procedure.. we are billing the surgical procedure code with a modifier 52-reduced service. Ex: 74300 cholangiography intraoperative radiological supervision and interpretation. our radiologist is not in the room during the surgeons procedure. is it incorrect to bill 74300 with modifier 52?
