Is anyone having a recent issue getting paid for 2 units of the 87621 HUMAN PAPILLOMAVIRUS; AMPLIFIED PROBE TECHNIQUE, REPEAT SAME LAB TEST ON THE SAME DAY TO OBTAIN MULTIPLE RESULTS, Even after having a 91 modifier on it?
Our office would always get paid for the 2 units if we added the 91 modifier to it but now they're only paying for one and denying the other.
Is there a specific ICD-9 code we need to bill it with?
Has there been a new policy implemented? If so when?
