UHC Tricare no longer pays for HCPCS G0249 and G0250. It was denied as not a covered benefit. While talking to the case manager for this pt, she told me that there is a code that can be used and is covered/paid. I cannot find it! PLEASE HELP!!

These are very specific codes and their descriptions are typically of HCPCS type codes as it is for home use. CPT codes refer to services performed typically in a non-home point of service. There is a warfarin management CPT code, but the service is not for home use. I am curious as to what "code" she is referring to. Can't you ask her what code she is referring to, I would be very curious as to what it would be?
