Can I code a frontotemporal tumor resection (61510) and temporal lobectomy
(61537) when done through the same incision?

The AANS states "no" that it would be inappropriate to report two craniotomy CPT codes for a procedure perfomed through a single craniotomy exposure.

But I do not get a NCCI edit when I use either 3M or Coding Today and it shows that both codes can be coded together.

Any help would be appreciated!
