Hello All...Do you know of a chart or something that defines exactly what weeks fall in what trimesters? We are having a bit of a problem where our docs are saying 2nd trimester ultrasound, but the weeks are on the cusp. We want to get it right to submit a clean claim the first time. Thanks!!

The AAPC course states:
1st trimester less than 14 weeks 0 days
2nd trimester 14 weeks and 0 days to less than 28 weeks 0 days
3rd trimester 28 weeks and 0 days until delivery.
