Hello to all.
Help please! I am on the search on how to code the following situation.
The patient has a total colectomy, the patient only has a small intestine and anus. The physician did a procedure to examine the small intestine and he did so by entering thru the anus. Does anyone know how this should be coded? I am at lost as far as a CPT code. Any help is greatly appreciated.
