Does anyone append mod 52 if only one lymph node was removed? I was told to do this in the past. Does it matter how many lymph nodes are removed when billing 38746? Patient had a therapeutic wedge resection due to squamous cell carcinoma of the right upper lobe and only one R4 lymph node was removed. What are your thoughts?
