How to code a telehealth visit with doctor that leads to a covid test in our parking lot by the MA on the same day? Modifiers or separate claims?
 
Scenario 3
Telehealth 99202-99215 with -95 or whatever other modifier advice is given by the carrier for telehealth. Also -CS
99211-CS for specimen collection.
If you also perform the actual covid test, then the applicable lab code.
Please note: this is the AMA guidance. Carriers may set their own policies and might not reimburse 2 E/M services on the same day by the same provider.
