Radiopharmaceutical drugs (Tc-99m) used to be covered separatly with 78315- 3 phase study bone scan, and is covered separately per 2020 CPT book.. however, now there is a new NCCI (updated Jan 2020) that states that these are inclusive and insurances will not reimburse the drug. Does anyone know if there is a new code, or a different way to bill the drug?
