Need some help with procedure codes 11920 & 11921. Are these billable by a physician only? We have an MD who wants to hire a nurse/tattoo artist to perform this code on breast reconstruction patients. Can these services be, in essence, billed "incident to"? Additionally, is anyone aware of any related CCI edits? Are these codes always included in the recontrsuction?:eek:
 
11920 & 11921 are in a "R" Status. You're gonna have issues getting this paid. I'd contact your MAC.
