subclinical hypothyroidism and hypothyroidism is mentioned what we can code in icd 10 .
 
As per ICD-9-CM Coding Clinic, Third Quarter 1999 update, "subclinical hypothyroidism," where thyroid hormone levels are normal, but thyrotropin (or thyroid stimulating hormone, TSH) is elevated. This will usually be documented as subclinical hypothyroidism, and should be coded as hypothyroidism (244.9)"
Therefore, ICD 10 code for 244.9 is E03.9 when documentation only states subclinical hypothyroidism(without mention of iodine deficiency)
