Does anyone have any experience billing/coding Subacute Detox services to private insurances? If so, what codes are used and how is it billed?

Yes, I do. What questions or concerns do you have?
 
I do not make a change for commercial vs. private insurance. I billed the detox charge the same across the board, unless a payer (private or commercial) request to be billed a certain way and/or if there is a provider manual that dictates how.

I am billing for a residential subacute detoxification unit and I was told to use H0011 to bill for our daily services. We are located in Ohio and Ohio Medicaid told us to use H0011. Is H0011 also used to bill commercial payors?
