If a patient had a right medial rectus recession by 5mm and then a right lateral resection of 8 mm- would this be a horizontal muscle 67311 or vertical 67314 ?or another ?

I believe that your correct code would be 67312: Strabimus surgery, recession or resection procedure; 2 horizontal muscles.

Hope this helps!

This has to do with 67311

If someone could help me on the 67311 code

staff releases incorrect muscle and then has to go back and release correct muscle.

Can we enter 67311 twice with the first 67311 with complication code and E code and then enter 67311 with the correct dx code along with a modifier.
