Hello, I have a charge that is an infected rt should prosthesis looking at CPT code 23335 Total Shoulder.
my question is that the DR. used Bactisure when he debrided down to bones which I did not know if this would be
able to be billed with +20704 ( manual preparation and insertion of drug delivery device intra-articular).
Dr. NOTE: We used Bactisure, debrided any devitalized tissue down to muscle and bone with pickups and scissors
and rongeur irrigating copiously, cleaning up skin edges. We rinsed our Bactrisure and then sized our OsteoRemedy.
Has anyone coded for this before.
