The code 72069 does not specify a number of views in the description in the CPT book, so is there a specific number of views or does it matter?

And for codes such as 72114 and 72120 where the description includes "bending", what is considered bending? Flexion and extension? Our rad tech says "bending" is usually side-to-side.

Any input is appreciated - thanks! :)

Per CSI - 72069 describes a procedure where the patient stands with his or her back to the X-ray machine. One image is taken of the thoracolumbar portions of the spine on one 36 inch film.

72114 and 72120 - bending views are another term for flexion and extension.
hope this helps!:)
