Hi Experts,
I need a little clarification, please help.
When multiple spermatoceles are excised, would there be a need for units or does the code 54840 include 1 or more?

I have this same question. Since the MUE shows 1 for 54840, it looks like only 1 unit can be billed, but the code description doesn't make this clear. Can modifier 22 be added for more than one? I wish someone had the answer.
