Wiki Smoking cessation using 99385-99387/99395-99397

My NP just completed smoking cessation certification. She indicated that the above codes were presented as codes that could be used. I thought 99406/407 were the only codes that could be used for smoking cessation.

Is anyone else using these preventative medicine service codes for detailed (longer than 30 minutes) smoking cessation counseling sessions? It looks like an exam is required.
