Does anyone bill anesthesia for sclerotherapy (36470 and 36471)? If so, what type, and under what circumstances? If not, any info to support/links are appreciated.

I'm not surprised that no one replied to my February post! I still have an issue with this.

Can someone look up the anesthesia CPT code to go with 36471 of the thigh? I can't find anything definitive and the debate here is do we use:

00400 - Anesthesia for procedures on the integumentary system on the extremities, anterior trunk and perineum, not otherwise specified

Or

01260 - Anesthesia for all procedures involving veins of upper leg, including exploration
