I need help with this scenario!!!!
During a repeat c-sec Ob notes "Upon inspection of the lower uterine segment about 2-3cm dehiscence of the uterine incision was noted just right of the midline, with the membreane being covered just by a peritoneal layer."
When I look at my options for Dx of 674.1X (Disruption of cesarean wound) it appears that I am forced to use fith diget 2(delivered, with mention of postpartum complication). However, there is no mention of postpartum complication. Is it safe to just code this complication of labor 665.11 (Rupture of uterus during labor NOS)?
Please, please, please advise!!
