pt came into office with wrist pain, xrays negative, ortho felt it was a Salter-Harris IV fracture, pt was casted and 813.42 was diagnosis.
as a follow-up visit Do I use V13.52 as the diagnosis primary to the 813.42

fracture follow up in ICD-9 are coded with the V54 codes. You do not code the 813.42 after the initial treatment only the V code.
