Does anyone code bariatric surgery, specifically the ROSE procedure. I know an unlisted code has to be used, but what would the comparison code be?

Open surgical revision, reported by CPT 43860 would be the comparator code. Alternatively, 43848 could be used.

I was considering both those codes but it's a lot of RVUs for an endoscopic procedure. I was thinking possibly endoscopic procedure with comparable complexity and time.

You have to offer a PROPOSED fee. I base it on a proportion of the open procedure, plus an extra factor for extra training/skill involved. That is worth something.
