Hi,

Can someone tell me the HCPCS code to bill a Richie Brace?

You can only use a L1970 for a custom brace "L1970 - Ankle foot orthosis, plastic, with ankle joint, custom-fabricated" now if the brace is off shelf the with articulating ankle joint then correct code would be "L1971 - Ankle foor orthosis, plastic, with ankle joint, prefabricated, includes fitting and adjustments."
