Ok.
So I know that a thumb Bennetts Fx/Dislo goes to 26645-26665. BUT, what happens when the Fx/Dislo is of, say, the RING finger MC?
Physican does ORIF of fx and ORIF of the dislo.

What are the thoughts of 26686, for a complex CMC reduction (made complex by the associated MC base fx)

Any ideas or thoughts?

Thanks!

This is just my opinion, but I would code 26685 for the CMC dislocation, and 26615 for the metacarpal fracture (if I am reading the scenario correctly). According to AAOS global data set for 26685, tx of additional fractures is NOT included in the global service package. :)
