Hello,
I help a company with their medical claims and they recently went to the Medicare Resource Based Relative Value Scale. I have not used this scale in such a long time, I was wondering if anyone could tell me if I did it correctly.
CPT=64493
Work RVU 1.52 X Work GPCI 1.500 = 2.28
PE RVU 3.27 X PE GPCI 1.107 = 3.61989
MP RVU 0.14 X MP GPCI 0.712 = 0.09968

2.28 + 3.61989 + 0.09968 = 5.99957

Conversion factor is 205

5.99957 X 205 = 1229.91185

So the reimbursement for 64493 would be $1229.91.

Thank you for any help on this!
Gina

Yep looks right.

((Work RVU * Work GPCI) + (PE RVU * PE GPCI) + (Mal RVU * Mal GPCI)) * CF

((1.52 * 1.5) + (3.27 * 1.107) + (.14 * .712)) * 205
