Need advise on how to code surgery: Patient was admitted for Repeat C Section and BTL which I code as 59510 (654.21 & V27.0) and 58611 (V25.2).
Hours after the procedure the patient was returned to the OR for a post partum hemorrhage and a D&C converted to a TAH was preformed.
Can any one help with coding this?

Wouldn't you bill 58150 with modifier 78? If the hysterectomy was done at the time of the c/s delivery it would be the c/s delivery cpt and cpt 59525.
