Hi,

My doctor removed a lumboperitoneal shunt.

63740 -Creation os shunt,lumbar,subarachnoid-peritoneal,-pleural,or other:including laminectomy
63741-percutaneous,not requiring laminectomy

63746-states removal of entire lumosubarachnoid shunt system without replacement

63746-Is this code also appropriate for removal of lumboperitoneal shunt system or should I be using an Unlisted code?????
