Has anyone billed CPT code 87301 done in office and received reimbursement? We are a physicians office who performs covid screening prior to procedures. We have been doing the salvia test and billing 99211 for the nurse visit and test is sent to the lab. Our MD wants to start the rapid testing in office since salvia tests ae not coming back fast enough. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
