Hi all,
I have a test for TBII (Thyrotropin-Binding Inhibitory Immunoglobulin). The methodology is radioreceptor assay. The ref lab is using 83519. The CPT code book specifies radioimmunoassay (eg, RIA). Does anyone know if a radioreceptor assay is a type of radioimmunoassay???
