hi I'm new with Psychiatry coding. I have a question, my doctor submitted DX DSM 5: substance induced psychosis, stimulant use disorder, opioid use disorder. Is DX F11.959?
 
Does the provider specify which substance induced the psychosis? If not, I would use F19.959 Other psychoactive substance use, unspecified with psychoactive substance-induced psychotic disorder, unspecified, F15.90 Other stimulant use, unspecified, uncomplicated, F11.90 Opioid use, unspecified, uncomplicated. Is there more information about these diagnoses available in the assessment? More specific codes might apply with greater detail.
