My provider is performing cervical epidural injection with PRP. I know the PRP code is 0232T. However, the facility is billing the insurance company for the cervical epidural code of 62321. She has already charged the patient for the PRP since it is considered experimental and they signed a waiver acknowledging we will not bill carrier. She is aware the PRP states injection but facility coder is disagreeing with her and sent out to the insurance. I have tried to find info on how to code PRP with spinal procedure to no avail. Any thoughts?
