I work for a Neonatal group and we perform all newborn hearing screenings while babies are still inpatient as part of the Preventative services measure. We have been using cpt 92558 with icd v72.19. We are having difficulties with private payers and coding guidlines. Can anyone advise what would be the correct coding for babies that do not have a hearing impairment and pass test.?????
