Patient came in for a post-op f/u visit for a recent right knee surgery in which she had a right total knee arthroplasty. The provider codes a Z98.890. Patient pain is currently controlled with meds. There aren’t any other problems. Is this diagnosis code okay to use as primary and only code on the claim? Please advise.
