Wiki Polydactyous digits, bilateral

My physician excised Polydactylous digits bilaterally (including bone). I billed CPT 26587, which I believe to be correct but failed to notice, this code cannot be billed w/ a modifier 50 for bilateral. Do I bill this with 2 units since we performed the procedure twice, or do I ony get to billthe one code w/ no modifier?

I wouldn't bill it as 2 units but would bill 26587 and then 26587-59.
