I have been billing for an out of network clinical laboratory for drug screen analysis and the reimbursement rates have been significantly low.
I am currently using 29 of the 2015 cpt codes, i.e. 80353 for cocaine.

I do not understand why the rate of reimbursement is so low, across the board from BCBS, Cigna, Humana, Aetna, etc.

Should I still be using the 2014 g codes, i.e. G6044 for cocaine instead of 80353?

Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.
