I can't find a discussion forum for physical therapy, so I'm hoping someone might be able to help me out here, or tell me where I could post my question.

A patient came in for physical therapy and was seen by a PT assistant, but supervised by the PT. The patient had whirlpool therapy, ice packs and massage. Totally lost as far as coding goes! And would there be a modifier on the CPT since an assistant provided the service?
 
GP: Indicates services delivered under an outpatient physical therapy plan of care

97022 Whirlpool
97010 Cold Packs
97124 Massage

The services of the PTA are only billable when provided under the direct supervision of the physical therapist and under their National Provider Identifier (NPI) number.
