I have recently started to work for an outpatient infusion center administering mostly antibiotics. Training is done in office and patient then administers meds at home. Pt comes to office weekly for evaluation and to pick up supplies. Any suggestions on how best to code for this. Currently using per diem codes, drug codes and a couple of supply codes.

Reply:
Do not give per diem codes. The per diem codes are usually billed for inpatient facilities.
Give the infusion codes 90769-90771,
then the drug codes-J codes, followed by
Supply codes-
